Submitting an application

• BA Law, BCom Law and all other candidates wanting to do a post-graduate LLB should apply as from August of their final year as undergraduates.
• Undergraduate LLB candidates should apply as from August of their second year.

Applying for articles, vacation work and/or bursaries

Candidates need not submit more than one application to the firm. A single application allows a candidate to specify if he/she is applying for vacation work, the candidate attorney programme, financial aid or any combination of these three fields.

Articles

• Articles for 2012 – A limited number of spaces are available in the Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban offices.
• Articles for 2013 – A limited number of spaces are available in the Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban offices.
• Articles for 2014 – Applications open in August 2011. Candidates are advised to apply as early as possible as offers are made progressively.

Vacation work

Applications for the Summer Vacation Programmes open 01 August 2011 and close 29th October 2011. Only applicants commencing articles in 2014 will be considered for the Summer Vacation Programmes. The programme is run in December in the Johannesburg office only and in all three South African offices in January 2012.

Bursaries and scholarships

Applications open 01 August 2011 and close 29 October 2011. The firm also participates in the bursary and scholarship programmes across various South African universities. Bursaries and Scholarships will be advertised on campus.
